PLAN
For the 2003 season, I am including the
preseason-training plan. The plan targets the skills that we need to
improve, and provides a positive and safe setting. Proper preparation
helps the players be physically and mentally ready for the season. It
also reduces the chances of injury.
TRAINING
TIPS
From time to time, I get questions about what players should
be (or not) eating for better performance. Because a long-term diet
needs to be geared to each individual player, I am limiting my comments to
preparing the players for practices, scrimmages, and games.

Try to complete these workout
exercises every day. This can be done anywhere that there is little danger of
breaking things, for instance in a basement, playroom or outside.

TIPS
Part of our preparation for the Spring season is to improve
our soccer
knowledge. I will be giving you some "Tactics Tips." You
will eventually
take a test to show what you have learned. Part will be a multiple
choice
test. Part will be on the field. Highest scorers will get
rewarded.
